PAC Audio makes it possible for Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts to easily integrate an aftermarket radio into their ride with the HDK001X Radio Replacement Interface for 1998 to 2013 Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. The complete solution kit is designed for select Harley FL models with factory fairings. Among other features, it includes a preprogrammed interface that retains the factory handlebar audio controls.
Features & Specs
  • Compatible with select 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson® motorcycles with factory fairings
  • Aftermarket radio must be equipped with a wired remote input (3.5 mm headphone style jack or Blue/Yellow wire) in order to be compatible (ex. a port or wire on the back of the radio labeled W/R, REM, Wired Remote, Remote, Rem Cont etc.)
  • Retains handlebar audio controls
  • does not retain rear speakers
  • pre-programmed radio-specific handlebar functions
  • Simplified prewired installation harness eliminates need to cut any of the bike's wires
  • Not compatible with any Sony® XAV series head unit
  • Not compatible with Alpine® models UTE-73BT, CDE-172BT, CDE-173BT, and CDE175BT
  • Not compatible with KENWOOD® models KDC-X598, KDC-BT318U, KDCBT-758-HD, KDCBT-558U, and KDC-X798
  • Clarion® model CZ500 does not support remote Bluetooth controls
  • JVC® model numbers KW-NT1 and KW-NT3HDT do not support Presets Up and Down from steering wheel controls
  • Pioneer® AVIC-Fxxx radios do not interpret radio preset seeking commands
  • this is a limitation of the radio not the SWI-RCT
  • Pioneer® radios with Bluetooth® feature, the steering wheel controls will not adjust the phone call volume
  • phone call volume must be adjusted on the face of the radio
  • Only the AVIC-Z110BT, Z120BT, Z130BT, and Z140BH and the AVIC-X920BT, X930BT, and X940BT will support the Voice Recognition function via wired remote input
  • Includes dash kit with optional foul weather and UV cover and step-by-step instruction manual
